What a time...

More than two months that I don't update. They have been intense. Full of great experiences, challenges, new people and big realizations.

To be on MC represent at least one problem everyday. Well, I would rather call it opportunity or challenge instead problem. I remember myself about 2.5 years ago so relaxed in life: Good job, Girlfriend and great friends to go party with. I felt tired of a normal life, a common life which I didn't want want at all. Then, some decisions made. Here I am. Facing every day new things on professional side, but more on personal. What a time....

The summary...
- Finally I graduated: YES, I am an engineer. Sounds so powerful, doesn't it ??? After 6 years and half of stops because exchange, long theses and AIESEC stuff- I am an INFORMATIC ENGINEER of EAFIT University. I didn't attend graduation ceremony because of...see below..
- I went to Turkey: YES, the country where some people say the western civilization was born. This country where you feel, you can smell the influence of religion in the rules, in the way most of people behave. I didn't get to spend some much time with Turkish people, inside their homes and playground as I wished because I was attending AIESEC conference, but I got to see a little bit. It's full of great people, really warm and welcoming people, in that way I felt like at home as most people in Colombia are also that way. I got to see the biggest city I've ever been to (Istanbul) and a preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean, and among the best places in the world enabling one to genuinely 'soak in' the atmosphere of Roman times (Ephesus). Last days, I spent them in Kasadusi, which is an amazing town located on the coast of the Aegean sea close to Izmir.
AIESEC conference was amazing. As in Poland last year, the power of it are the people. Just imagine getting together for about 12 days with 700 delegates coming from 100 different countries. I don't know if there are many chances to have such a powerful experience outside AIESEC.
The highlights:
1. We were about 25 Colombians and "wanna be" Colombians :P. For the first time ever. So many Colombians in an International Congress of AIESEC.
2. AIESEC in Colombia got the Global UBS award. Which represents like the Champion country of the year. What was incredible for me was to have together all AIESEC leaders in the world, people representing some of the biggest companies that partner with AIESEC, international media. So, all these people looking at Colombia with different eyes. Looking at this generation of leaders who want to make a difference, and actually because of this a group of people who already started to make a difference. All these people challenging their world view of country that has had a really bad image because of an internal conflict for almost 60 years, drug dealers and mainly because of ignorant media. FOR ME it was the best part of receiving the award.
- I got to see you again and have a big realization. Spent the best time of last months. :) Also, I had to deal with honesty, not with someone else, but with myself.

Bueno parceros and my readers (If I have any reader besides Molly :)), I promise I will update more often.
